NVD at the IAEA Symposium on International Safeguards

Malte Göttsche, Thomas Radermacher, Yan-Jie Schnellbach, Sophie Kretzschmar and Benjamin Jung participated in IAEA's Symposium on International Safeguards. Benjamin Jung and Thomas Radermacher presented posters on nuclear reactor archaeology and on using antineutrinos to safeguard spent fuel (M. Göttsche, K. Ermert, B. Jung, L. Rademacher: Verifying Initial Declarations using Nuclear Archaeology Methods, and T. Radermacher, M. Göttsche, I. Niemeyer, S. Roth: Antineutrino Monitoring for Safeguarding Spent Nuclear Fuel ).

Moreover, the NVD delegation had lots of fruitful discussions and exchanges with fellow researchers, diplomats and national and international authorities. They also took part in a dinner at the Vienna City Hall to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the comprehensive safeguards agreements and the 25th anniversary of the additional protocol.
